Jesus should be First Love. 💞

I really believe that Jesus should be the absolute center of our lives—He’s the one who deserves the first place in our hearts above everything else. There’s something so beautiful about having a deep, personal relationship with Him, where He’s not just a part of our lives, but the very foundation of everything we do. He is our “first love,” that all-consuming, unshakeable passion that goes beyond anything else we could ever hold on to. It’s so important to return to that heart of worship and intimacy with Him, to reignite that awe and love we first felt when we encountered Him—because it’s not just about that one moment of salvation. It’s about choosing Him over and over again, every single day. We need to keep our hearts centered on His love, letting it transform us from the inside out.

A verse that has stirred my spirit the past couple of days…

🦋💓Isaiah 40:12 “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance?”

Do you know the Father , the Creator of the Universe , is the Intelligent Designer and He measured the universe with the span that is from your thumb to your pinky!?

He sent us His ONE + ONLY SON for His hands to be driven with nails for us!!??

& His hands (life + love) are the ones that hold us, comfort us, hold tight onto us, reach out to us, save us from the depths of the raging seas in every storm, give us everything we need…!!!! 💗💗💗

If you’re heavy laden… reach out because He’s already there.
If you’re full of joy, let Him hold your hand through it and dance with Him!
If you’re confused, sit with Him and let Him hold you.
If you’re mad, let Him speak truth to you and He will pour love over you and comfort you.
For you serve the KING of kings… Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!❣️❣️❣️ hallelujah!!!!

Jesus has all victory forevermore.
Everywhere He has victory. On the land... in the manger in Bethlehem or in the Garden at Gethsemane or at the very hill in Golgotha.
On the water... whether He was preaching in the boat or when He led Peter out to Him with His victorious might!

And what gift His
victorious power and spirit lives and dwells in. us!!?? oh how we praise You, our God of all victory!!!

Matthew 12:43 says, “when an unclean spirit goes out of a person, it passes through waterless places, seeking rest but finds none” 🛏️

Jesus paints a picture of an unclean spirit that leaves a person and wanders through “waterless places” seeking rest but finding none. This vivid image speaks to a deep spiritual truth: when we try to find peace or fulfillment in things that are empty—things that can never truly satisfy our deepest needs—we will always feel restless. The “waterless places” represent a life without true, lasting fulfillment. We may look for contentment in material things, success, or even relationships, but none of these can fill the void in our hearts. They may bring temporary happiness, but they can’t give us the rest that our souls are truly yearning for.

This is where Jesus comes in with His incredible promise. In Matthew 11:28, He says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Jesus is not offering the kind of rest that fades with time or circumstance. He’s offering the kind of rest that fills us from the inside out, the kind that brings peace to our souls no matter what’s going on in the world around us. Jesus is the living water, the only One who can quench our spiritual thirst. When we come to Him, we are filled with His peace, His love, and His joy—things that no earthly pursuit can offer.

So, instead of continuing to search for rest in empty places, we can come to Jesus, who promises to give us rest. When we allow Him to fill the emptiness inside, He gives us a peace that surpasses all understanding. We no longer need to chase after temporary things that leave us empty; with Jesus, we find the lasting fulfillment our hearts are longing for. True rest and peace come from Him alone—and when we rest in Him, we experience the deep satisfaction that only He can provide.

Personally, I feel like I get attacked the most when I’m trying to rest. Like literally how that verse says the evil spirit are seeking rest.
& what a joy to know Christ the One who is rest to us. The evil spirits and demons and principalities will never know rest - they will never get to love rest…But we do! Rest in that truth today!

His blood holds perfect grace and perfect truth ♥️♥️♥️

Come boldly to the throne
Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

The throne of Grace
Is also the throne of truth!

The way the truth and the life sits on the throne!
John 14:6 “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

The throne is full of the way!
Oh how blessed are we followers of the way!
Full of the truth!

Clothe us in Your armor- the belt of truth!
Ephesians 6:14 “Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.”

Our life is seated on the throne!
Word of Life, Word of truth
John 1:4 “The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.”

Our Lamb is seated on the throne!
Revelation 7:17 “For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Let us lay our love at the feet of His throne!!!
Psalm 89: 28-29
“I will maintain my love to him forever,
and my covenant with him will never fail.
I will establish his line forever,
his throne as long as the heavens endure.”

Matthew 6:6-7…
“But when you go into your room and pray shut the door and pray to your Father who dwells in secret and then your Father who dwells in secret will reward you openly!”

With what? HIMSELF! HE IS THE REWARD! He is the answer! He is the solution! He’s everything! We have to stop trying to be peoples solution! 🤍

🍯When we place our trust in Jesus, we don’t just get some abstract idea or distant promise—we get Jesus Himself, right here and right now. We receive the fullness of God in all His aspects: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But for now, let’s focus on the profound truth that when we place our confidence in Jesus, we don’t just receive the benefits of His work or the hope of something to come. We actually receive Jesus Himself. He is both the means and the end. What does that mean? It means that Jesus is not just the way to salvation, but He is the salvation itself. He is both our ultimate hope and our present reality. He is the foundation of our confidence and the reward for that confidence. He is the answer to our longing, the fulfillment of our deepest desires. Did that just blow your mind, even a little? It’s a lot to think about, isn’t it? The idea that the very One we trust in, the One we follow, is also the fullness of the reward we seek. It’s as though the journey and the destination are one and the same. How incredible is that??!!!

Matthew 6:11 give us this day our daily bread🤍
Jesus blessed the crowd with 7 loaves of bread. There are 7 days in a week. He is our DAILY BREAD!!!!

Our bread in the U.S. is filled with preservatives that are toxic.
Good bread- Fresh bread you have to seek daily you have to go get new bread everyday. It’ll get moldy if you don’t. You need it new everyday.
You have to get fresh bread everyday!

Some people live off moldy bread!
They’re living off an encounter they had years ago. They are not actively seeking the Bread of Life!

“Do this in remembrance of Me” is a fresh reminder for everyday that’s a continuation of where it doesn’t get stale or get old

❤️read 1 Corinthians 11:20-32… here’s a part of it!
“For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night when He was betrayed, took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. But a person must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the body. For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number are asleep. We have to feast upon Him daily! He’s the meal!
The whole Lamb! The whole Christ!

Lowly and meek,
Yet all powerful♥️

Sometimes crying is the holiest thing you can do. Sometimes it’s sleeping. Or cooking for a friend. Or sending a note in the mail. Or listening to someone share how bad their work day was or about how scary the future seems.
Sometimes sitting in silence - really sitting in that excruciating emotional pain and muttering the words “I don’t understand” and
“God, please help me” over and over - sometimes that’s the most intimate and raw and spiritual thing.

Sometimes it’s the very thing that breaks us that draws us to the heart of the Father.
Sometimes what we think isn’t “holy”- is what He will draw us to Him with.
Sometimes what we think isn’t “holy”, is actually so close to the very heart of God.

So let’s rejoice TODAY!!! That no matter where we are, where are feet are, what life looks like… that He draws us to Him. In all His glory and perfection… I marvel that I’m saved at all. That He came to us and sacrificed His life for us. Oh Jesus how we LOVE YOU!!! Help us to love you more than all our sin!!!

I needed these prayers. I needed these verses. And I needed to see them. I needed them spoken over my life, over my days. Yet, how graciously the Lord speaks truth over us everyday. He has breathed truth over our lives + offered a daily word to us everyday in His HOLY scriptures!!! How sweet it is to know Jesus 🤍🧸🕯️

I needed these truths written on my mirror of WHO Jesus is… the Savior i am so humbly blessed to serve.

That HE is our Risen King!
That HIS love is stronger than the grave!

And that i am grounded in HIS truth!
And rooted in HIS love!

And most sweetest…. He calls me His🥲🤍🙏🥹

There’s this song called “Wonderful” by Jamie Grace.
It was a song i would always and always go back to during this time where i needed these truths spoken over me…

isn’t it miraculous that we serve a God who in His breath can still the most powerful waves? 🩵🙌🐬🌊

He can do that to the raging sea… but also to the storms in our lives!

I just opened up my Bible and asked the Holy Spirit to reveal something to me about this… He led me to psalm 104!!!

Verses 5-13…
“5 You placed the world on its foundation
so it would never be moved.
6 You clothed the earth with floods of water,
water that covered even the mountains.
7 At your command, the water fled;
at the sound of your thunder, it hurried away.
8 Mountains rose and valleys sank
to the levels you decreed.
9 Then you set a firm boundary for the seas,
so they would never again cover the earth.
10 You make springs pour water into the ravines,
so streams gush down from the mountains.
11 They provide water for all the animals,
and the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
12 The birds nest beside the streams
and sing among the branches of the trees.
13 You send rain on the mountains from your heavenly home,
and you fill the earth with the fruit of your labor.”

Through this we learn that…
1) God literally has purpose for ALL of creation. For you and me! For all the animals and even the seas!

2) He has authority and power over the whole entire universe!!! How blessed are we that our wonderful counselor + beautiful creator knows the hairs on our heads and knows the names and exact measurements of all the things in the whole universe!!???😭🙌🩷

3) though we get thirsty if we literally don’t drink water for a couple hours or when the animals quench for thirst and search for a body of water… we have to remember that the only water that will satisfy us is the LIVING WATER IN JESUS CHRIST!!!🌊🌊🌊🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌🩵🩵🩵 we can search and search and search the depths of the earth, but the only water that will actually quench our thirst is HIM!🫶

Thank You, Lord, that YOU have authority over all creation!!!! Thank You for revealing Your truth and love through it too!!! I wouldn’t want my life to be in anyone else’s hands!!! TYJ!!!🩵🩵🩵
